Receipt and warranty card attached
Upload a photo or PDF of the receipt, warranty card, manual or service invoice and keep it on the product it belongs to, not buried in a camera roll or an old inbox.
Hanory is a warranty tracker for your home. Record the product, attach the receipt and warranty card, note the serial number and expiry date, and see upcoming expiries before they pass. When something breaks, everything the repair desk asks for is already in one place.
Most warranty headaches are not about coverage. They are about finding the receipt, the model number and the purchase date at the exact moment you need them.
Upload a photo or PDF of the receipt, warranty card, manual or service invoice and keep it on the product it belongs to, not buried in a camera roll or an old inbox.
Record the warranty end date and choose how many days ahead you want a reminder. Upcoming expiries appear in your Today agenda alongside maintenance and payments.
Log each service visit with its date, cost and notes, and mark the product as at service while it is away. The next technician can see what was already done.
Enter a name and category. Brand, model, room, serial number, purchase date and price can be added now or later.
Upload the receipt or warranty card as a photo or PDF, then record the warranty end date from the product's own terms.
Pick how many days before expiry you want to hear about it. Browser notifications work today, and reminders also arrive as a daily email digest with one-click unsubscribe.
Warranty records show what you own and where it is, so Hanory treats them as private data from the start. You stay in control of what is stored and where it goes.
The free plan includes one home, unlimited products, bills and subscriptions, 25 documents or photos, and backup and export. Hanory Plus adds unlimited homes and unlimited documents. Your first Plus purchase comes with a 14-day refund, and payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record.
Reliable warranty tracking means keeping the product, proof of purchase, serial number, coverage dates and service history together. Saving an expiry date on its own is not enough: when you contact a manufacturer or retailer, they usually want to know exactly which item you bought, when and where.
You do not need everything on day one. A product name, category and receipt are a solid start; the serial number and dates can follow the next time you have the item in front of you.
Use the product's warranty terms and your purchase documents instead of assuming a standard period. Coverage often starts on the purchase or delivery date, but some products count from registration, and different parts of the same product can carry different periods. Promotional offers, store protection plans and extended warranties usually have their own start dates, limits and claim processes, so record them as separate coverage rather than stretching the original end date.
A date stored in an app is a reminder, not a contract. If there is ever a dispute, the official documents, the seller's or manufacturer's terms and the consumer rules that apply where you live decide what is covered. When in doubt, check with the seller, the manufacturer or an official consumer protection source.
A receipt saved somewhere in a photo library is hard to find under pressure. Linking it to the item means the purchase date, model and serial number are on the same screen during a support call or a chat with a repair shop. It also prevents a common mix-up: having a receipt but not knowing which of two similar devices it belongs to.
In Hanory, each document is attached to a product and labeled by type: receipt, warranty, manual, service, photo or other. That makes it easy to pull up the right file without opening every attachment.
A review roughly 30 days before expiry is a practical default. It leaves time to test the product, report any unresolved fault while it is still covered and find missing paperwork. For expensive items, a second reminder a few days before the end date can help.
Keep maintenance reminders separate from warranty expiry. They lead to different actions: one is about servicing the product, the other is about using your coverage before it ends. Some manufacturers also require regular servicing to keep the warranty valid, so it is worth checking the conditions in the manual.
Hanory keeps warranty dates beside the product's model, serial number, documents and maintenance history. Upcoming records are labeled by type, so a warranty expiry is never confused with a maintenance date or a bill. Hanory does not scan receipts or file claims for you; it keeps the facts organized so you can act quickly.
