How did the idea begin?
The project began as a subscription tracker. It soon became clear that a home's digital memory is broader: a television receipt, an air conditioner's service date, a phone warranty and a bicycle serial number all solve the same problem—finding important information when it matters.
Who developed Hanory?
Hanory is an independent software product designed and developed by Tolga Deveci. Its product strategy, user experience, multilingual interface and application development follow the same goal: a simple, trustworthy digital home memory.
Product principles
- The first product should take less than a minute to add.
- Hanory should not collect personal details it does not use.
- Warranty, maintenance and payment alerts should remain distinct.
- Private documents should be protected by user- and household-level access rules.
- Users should be able to export their records as JSON, CSV and PDF.
Current scope
Hanory includes home inventory, private documents, warranty and maintenance history, bills, subscriptions, multiple homes, reminders, data export and Turkish, English and Spanish interfaces. Planned work includes document recognition, family sharing and notifications that work when the app is closed.
