1. Who we are
Hanory is an independent software service developed and operated by Tolga Deveci (“Hanory”, “we”). For any question, request or notice, email destek@hanory.app. Our postal address is provided on request via destek@hanory.app.
2. The service
Hanory is a web application that helps you organize household products, documents, warranties, maintenance records, bills and subscriptions, and receive reminders about them. Hanory is not a warranty provider, insurer, repair service or financial advisor.
3. Your account
Hanory is intended for people aged 18 or over. People under 18 may create an account only with the permission of a parent or guardian, and paid plans may only be bought by people aged 18 or over. A valid email address is required to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password confidential. Tell us immediately if you notice unauthorized use of your account.
4. Plans
Free plan: 1 home, unlimited products, bills and subscriptions, and 25 documents or photos in total. Hanory Plus: unlimited homes and unlimited documents. Once per account, the in-app trial button or adding a second home starts a 14-day Plus trial that requires no card; you are never charged automatically when it ends. Current plan details are shown on the pricing page.
5. Payment and renewal
Hanory Plus is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders; your purchase is also subject to the Paddle Buyer Terms. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel, and the charge is taken from your saved payment method. Prices are shown at checkout with any taxes that apply in your country. Price changes are announced by email at least 30 days in advance and only apply from your next billing period.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime with the “Manage / cancel subscription” button in the app's Settings, from the link in your Paddle receipt email, or by writing to destek@hanory.app. Cancelling stops the next renewal. After cancelling you keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted; homes and documents beyond the free plan limits stay viewable and exportable but cannot be edited.
7. Refunds
Refunds are described in the refund policy. In short, your first purchase is fully refundable within 14 days, no questions asked. An approved refund ends Plus access for that period and cancels the subscription's renewal. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
8. Your content
The records, documents and photos you add to Hanory belong to you. So that we can run the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to store, process, back up and display your content to you, solely to provide the service. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the time needed to clear backups. We do not sell your content, use it for advertising or share it with others; only if you share a home with other members do that home's records become visible to them. You are responsible for making sure your content is lawful and does not infringe anyone else's rights. You can export your data or permanently delete it together with your account at any time.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use Hanory to store unlawful content, try to access other people's accounts or data, probe or disrupt the security of the service, overload it with automated tools, or resell it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
10. Closing your account and your data
You can permanently delete your account at any time in Settings; if you have a paid subscription we recommend cancelling it first. When you delete your account, your records and uploaded files are deleted and removed from database backups within 30 days; payment and invoice records are kept by Paddle for the periods required by law. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account: at the end of the period it moves to the free plan and your data is kept. If you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms we may close your account, with notice where possible and reasonable time to export your data; in urgent cases such as unlawful content or a security threat we may suspend access without notice. If we close a paid account for any reason other than a breach of these terms, we refund the unused prepaid period pro rata.
11. Availability
We take reasonable care to keep Hanory secure and available, but maintenance, updates or our infrastructure providers may cause interruptions. We may change features to improve the service and will give notice before removing a paid feature. If we ever shut the service down we will give at least 30 days' notice, time to export your data, and a pro-rata refund for unused prepaid periods.
12. Limitation of liability
You are responsible for checking the accuracy of due, warranty and maintenance dates; we are not liable for indirect losses caused by late or missed reminders. To the extent permitted by law, Hanory's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Hanory in the 12 months before the claim. This cap does not exclude or reduce liability for intent or gross negligence, or any mandatory rights you have as a consumer (see Article 115 of the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098).
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will announce material changes by email or in-app notice at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers may apply to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts where they live, and consumers in the European Union keep the mandatory rights granted by the law of their country of residence.
